Faculty vs Student Baseball Game

This is a great fundraiser to involve the entire community. Organize a baseball game between the teachers at your school and student players. If there is too much student interest to play, you can always raffle off tickets for students to purchase for a chance to play in the game. The main revenue from this fundraiser will come from tickets sales of the actual game. Once the rosters for both sides of the game are filled (teachers and students), you would want to start advertising this game to the community. If you’re able to, get local businesses to sponsor the game with prizes or other products in exchange for free marketing for them.
Try and schedule the game at night or on a weekend so that you’re able to accommodate the most number of viewers. You can always sell food and drinks at the game for additional revenue. Making this fundraiser a success will help setup hype and anticipation for next year, as you can easily make this an annual event.

Home-Run Hitting Contest

Everyone loves hitting baseballs as hard as they can. You can have a baseball hitting contest where you can charge participants a fixed fee for a chance to hit 3-5 balls.  This is a very easy fundraiser to organize at no cost. There are many different variations to this as well. You can set up targets on the baseball field and make it a challenge to see who can get closest to the target. With this type of fundraiser, you are only limited by your imagination.

Baseball Tournament (remix)

Tournaments are always a great way to generate interest from a lot of people. Because baseball games are traditionally pretty long, you can always shorten the number of innings played per game. Teams would have to pay an entry fee, and so the more teams you are able to sign up, the more you’ll be able to raise. Make sure it’s one round eliminations, and that the entry fee is enough to justify this fundraiser. Don’t limit the participants to students only. Get the entire community involved!

Pitching Contest

Much like the home-run hitting contest, you can set up targets that participants can try throwing baseballs through. The beauty of this fundraiser is that you don’t need a large space or area to throw this fundraiser. You can set it up on your school campus and have it pretty frequently. Be sure that the prize you offer for winning is appealing enough for students to want to play. If you want to entice more people, you can always have a larger prize, and give out raffle tickets to winners, and hold a raffle at the end of each month.

We hope you’re able to use these baseball fundraising ideas to help you with your fundraiser!
