I would love to have mty sons play in a league that is controlling their costs this way. Our league more than doubled two years ago, at a time when the economy was being hit the hardest! We are now paying $550 per player, which does NOT include any equipment or uniforms!! The "coach" is mediocre, but league rules require thatr the kids play in their designated territory, so we can't go elsewhere. When challenges about the price increase, the "coach's" response was "We aren't the most expensive in the area! There are some teams that are charging more than this." So, $550 per player, with more than 100 players registered to the team... no wonder he can afford to drive a new truck! This is a very good price for lacrosse, and budgeting should be approved.
